Clearwater Beach, FL (05/08/05)
Sand sculptures of famous mario bros icons; goomba, the turtule shell, the question block and bowser.
I made the turtle shell first because I wasnt up to doing anything big, but I liked the way it came out so I went on and made the lill gomba sitting next to it. I decided to make a third one an object but the question block came out kinda crappy (hard to make squares out of sand). Then I thought a large bowser would be cool, so I started on him. I didnt get to finish it though, because I ran out of time and had to leave (the right side of his face is still unfinished).
Ill try bowser again next time I go (and remember to take a shovel next time)

P.S. few people knew what these were; one guy thought ithad something to do with the ninja turtules and someone else asked why theturtle shell had no head. Lukily their kids sometimes could explain it to them
